The museum offers to its visitor’s diverse expositions in Rakovník and branches located in Lány, Nové Strašecí, Jesenice and in others seasonal objects such as High Gate in Rakovník and Memorial of Joachim Barrande in Skryje.

Museum Rakovník and its branches offer permanent educational programs, related to expositions, designated for kindergartens, elementary and high schools. In educational offers are included lectures, field trips, screening of social-science and natural-science films. Consideration is given to the general education programs, when creating programs for schools (for regularly cooperating schools on their school educational programs).
